Refined Vegetable Oils

Canola Oil  is a versatile, neutral tasting oil that is very low in saturated fats. It is used in bakery, cooking, dressings, margarine, and due to its high smoke point, canola oil is excellent for deep frying.

Soya Bean Oil  is one of the world’s most widely used vegetable oils due to its nutritional qualities, abundance, competitive pricing and functionality. It is used particularly as a basis for margarine, dressings, and mayonnaise.

Sunflower Oil  is extracted from sunflower seeds. This oil is high in polyunsaturated fat and low in saturated fats. It has a pale yellow colour, and a bland taste. It is not however, suitable for deep frying because it smokes and burns at very high temperatures.

Vegetable Oil  based on liquid oil palm provides an Asian influence to cook dishes with a very economical price and with a very long lasting fry life. The best value for money oil available.

Corn Oil  is an odourless, almost tasteless oil that is high in polyunsaturated fats making it one of the healthier oils. It is used in baking, salad dressings, and also in the manufacture of margarine. Due to its high smoke point, it is also suitable for deep frying.

Peanut Oil  pale in colour and of a light consistency. It has a subtle, pleasant nutty flavour and can be heated to a high temperature without burning. Some people consider peanut oil to be the finest all-round oil for cooking and frying.

Cottonseed Oil  is a bland, neutral flavour that will not mask the flavour of the food. It is ideal for frying seafood, snack foods and oriental foods. In snack foods, cottonseed oil is superior because of its low flavour reversion.
